Foger Switch Pro citations: retain the component in the sentence

A careful quotation can still mislead if the editorial sentence silently changes the object.

A careful quotation can still mislead if the editorial sentence silently changes the object.

The primary-source record

FOGER’s Switch Pro documentation describes a modular arrangement with a pod and a magnetized charging dock. The page describes the components separately and also provides a combined battery figure. A different primary record, FDA’s 7 August 2025 warning letter to Smok’n Hot Vapors, identifies a particular Foger Switch Pro Kit variant. A manufacturer description and a regulator’s case record answer different questions.

Do not move a figure into another noun phrase

If a source describes the pod and dock separately, a note must keep that relationship even when paraphrased. The citation should identify the product page rather than only the homepage. That gives the reader a practical route to inspect which component the publisher was discussing.

An access date is not a verification result

Reading a product page on a given day establishes access, not physical authenticity or regulatory clearance. The record should say what was read and what was not examined. A timestamp becomes useful when it marks the limits of the editorial act instead of suggesting a wider certification.

What a reader can take from this record

The useful result is a traceable account: an exact subject, an attributed statement and a source date. No physical sample was examined for this article. We have not measured endurance, emissions, flavor or reliability. A source description is not a recommendation, and a historical institutional record should not be treated as a current worldwide legal determination.

Questions for the next source check

  • Does the full model name match the document being cited?
  • Is the statement about a component, a kit, a brand or a named case?
  • Which date belongs to the source, and which date only records access?
  • What observation or primary document would resolve the remaining question?
