Preserve the wording
A heading can contain persuasion as well as identification. Our focus is the durable citation. Preserve the exact wording, page identity and date so that another reader can reconstruct the question after the original design has changed.
A citation problem
Repeating it without attribution may make the publication sound as though it endorses the claim. Preserve a descriptive title, full address and access date with the specific assertion. Where the document supplies a different publication date, keep that separately. Formatting makes a citation usable; it does not establish that the destination or every claim has been verified.
Make the record durable
Describe the heading as the publisher’s wording and separate your interpretation. Keep the question, the source reference and the remaining limitation together so that a later reader can reconstruct the reasoning.
